The Columbia Gorge is my home and a constant source of inspiration and wonder.  The photographs below highlight the region's spectacular scenery.  They convey the critical need for protection of this delicate resource, which is under increasing development pressure—everything from wind turbines that would destroy the pristine skyline, to mega-casinos seeking to draw millions of people from the nearby city of Portland, Oregon.  For more on how you can help, read The Columbia Gorge Manifesto.
